Rules

The rules behind a 5K are very straightforward.  What it really comes down to is: showing up, line up with others, and wait for the command to start!  It is important to familiarize yourself with the rules of the road so you are not disqualified based off of a technicality.

Bib / Packet Pickup

Race Packet Pick-up for pre-registered runners and walkers will be scheduled sometime the week of March 25, 2012 in the OCC Retail Showroom.  Be sure to keep checking this website for updates as things are subject to change!

Course

The OCC 5K Run / Walk is set to start and end at the OCC World Headquarters located at 14 Crossroads Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.  The first leg of the 5K is on a moderate incline, the final half is generally downhill.

Plan Ahead

Plan to be arrive at OCC approximately one (1) prior to the start of the race, especially if you unable to retrieve your race packet in advance.  Please leave personal items at home.  Race officials, OCC staff and race volunteers are not responsible for any items left behind.

Other Common Rules

The OCC 5K Run / Walk does not allow pets, rollerblades, bicycles, or non-registered runners or walkers on the course.

Race Registration fees are nonrefundable, and registration fees will increase on race day, so PRE-REGISTER NOW!!!
